first memoirs of František Drtikol published in the Czech Republic. The
foreword to the paintings, studies about the nudity in art and about
this photographic work of art was written by J.R.Marek, the reviewer of
the cultural column of the National Newspaper (Národní listy). The book
documents, that František Drtikol is a pioneer of an unconventional
modern photography not only in our country but also in the world. The
woman body is a creative ingredient to him, which he composes, whether
itself or with the original requisites.
